Store at room temperature. For optimal freshness, keep refrigerated after opening. Freeze to prolong shelf life.
Recommended Dose: For all age groups and purposes: For each dose, mix with at least 150 ml of liquid. Maintain adequate fluid intake throughout the day. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications.
- Provides antioxidants:
- Children 6–11 years old: take ½ tablespoon once daily.
- Adults and adolescents 12+ years old: take 1 tablespoon once daily.
- As a laxative: Effects observed 12–24 hours after first dose, and may take 2–3 days.
- Children 6–11 years old: take ½ tablespoon twice daily.
- Adults and adolescents 12+ years old: take 1 tablespoon twice daily.
Cautions: Keep out of reach of children. Consult a health care practitioner immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you:
- Are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or have failed to defecate following the use of a laxative product.
- Have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or fever (as these could be signs of other serious conditions).
- Have diabetes or difficulty swallowing.
Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. May cause temporary gas and bloating.
